This policy explains what SMA stores about editors and labels who use the SMA Discord server and the SMA bot, why we store it, and how to delete it.
Who we are
SMA runs the SMA Discord server and the SMA bot, and is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact: hello@xeni.al.
What we collect from editors
- Discord: your user ID, the roles the bot gives you, and your application answers: TikTok handle, niche, editing tools, portfolio links and country.
- TikTok, when you sign in with TikTok: the data in the table below.
- TikTok sign-in tokens, stored encrypted, so the bot can refresh your stats without asking you to sign in again.
- Viewer-country screenshots you upload, and the countries and percentages read from them.
- Your scores, tier, country factor and strikes, and a log of decisions about your account.
- Campaign videos you submit: their links and view counts.
- Payout details, once payouts start: your PayPal email or crypto wallet address, and the identity and tax details needed to pay you.
TikTok data
SMA uses TikTok Login Kit. It only reads data and never posts, comments or sends messages for you.

SMA does not access your messages, drafts or private videos. You can disconnect SMA at any time in the TikTok app's settings under app permissions.
What we collect from labels
Label name, contact person, billing email, campaign details and payment records.
This website
This website uses no cookies, analytics or trackers. Its TikTok sign-in pages (under /connect/) send your one-time TikTok sign-in code to the SMA bot's server and show your TikTok profile picture, loaded from TikTok. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, and GitHub may log visitor IP addresses for security, as described in GitHub's privacy statement.
Why we use it
- To run the service you signed up for: deciding applications, setting tiers and rates, running campaigns and paying you.
- To prevent fraud and keep SMA working, such as spotting bought views and fake screenshots. This is our legitimate interest.
- To keep accounting and tax records that the law requires.
Who sees it
- SMA staff see applications, stats, screenshots and decisions.
- Labels see the videos submitted to their campaigns and those videos' stats.
- Service providers process data for us:
- Discord, where the server and bot run
- our hosting provider, which runs the bot and its database
- Anthropic, which reads viewer-country screenshots when automatic reading is turned on
- PayPal and crypto networks for payouts. Crypto transactions are public on their blockchain.
Some of these providers process data outside the EU and EEA under their own data protection terms. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
We keep your data until you delete it or ask us to. Payment records are kept as long as accounting law requires, even after you leave.
Your rights
- Delete your data: run
/delete-my-datain Discord. It removes your application, TikTok link, stats and screenshots, revokes SMA's TikTok access and removes your SMA roles. - Other requests: email hello@xeni.al to ask us to show, correct or export your data, or to object to how we use it.
- Complaints: you can complain to the data protection authority where you live. In Finland, that is the Data Protection Ombudsman.
Young users
SMA has no age limit of its own, but you must meet TikTok's and Discord's minimum ages. Where the law requires it, a parent or guardian must agree for younger users.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update this page and announce it in the SMA Discord.
